SHARON L. ROBINSON, P.E.

Sharon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and The City University, London, England in 1986 and began her career with Blasland, Bouck & Lee, Inc. in White Plains, New York.  After gaining fifteen years of consulting engineering experience, Sharon formed Staar Engineering, P.C. in 2001 and became a NYS Certified Woman Owned Business Enterprise.  Staar Engineering, P.C. merged with Lynch Engineering, P.C. in 2004 to combine the civil experience with the electrical and mechanical professional expertise of Lynch Engineering.  Today as President of LynStaar Engineering, P.C., a US DOT DBE & NYS WBE, Sharon oversees multi-disciplined projects.  Sharon is member of the National and New York Society of Professional Engineers, the New York State Water Environment Association and is licensed in the States of Connecticut and New York.

GARRY R. LYNCH, P.E.

Garry obtained a BSEE from Union College, an MBA in Finance from Iona and began his professional career as an Electrical Engineer in 1973 working for Westchester County DPW, New York.  In 1983 he founded Lynch Engineering, P.C. where he served as President until 2004 when Lynch Engineering merged with Staar Engineering. Today as Vice President of LynStaar Engineering, P.C., a US DOT DBE and NYS WBE, he supervises electrical and mechanical engineering functions, evaluations, studies and design, as well as construction administration.  Garry is an officer of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers and a member of the National Association of Forensic Engineers.  He is licensed in the States of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts and Maine.

Brendan C. Smith, P.E., LEED GA

Brendan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010. After working as an engineering intern at LynStaar Engineering during his education, he began fulltime work as the Assistant Mechanical Engineer upon graduating college. Today as Senior Mechanical Engineer, Brendan oversees all mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection projects. Brendan is an officer and Board of Governors member of the ASHRAE Bi-State chapter. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York.
