WESTCHESTER MEDICAL CENTER

LynStaar Engineering’s design services for the Westchester County Medical Center have included design for new gas service piping, HVAC systems modifications at the Public Health Lab Building, renovations to the Immunobiology laboratory area, new patient spaces, new forensic wing and a magnetic resonance prototype room. These designs have taken place from 1986 to the present and have included modifications and/or additions to existing electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.

To meet the growing demands of the maintenance department for the Grasslands Medical Compound located in Hawthorne, New York, LynStaar Engineering was solicited to design a 50,000 square foot Operations Facility which would require state of the art equipment to maintain and trouble shoot the maintenance department’s fleet of vehicles. In addition, an office environment would also have to be incorporated into this facility for the administrative staff to monitor and track the upkeep of the vehicles. LynStaar Engineering was able to meet this demand by designing a system that would allow the entry of maintenance information in the maintenance garage which could then be sorted and collected as the administrative staff required for monthly reports.

WHITE PLAINS HOSPITAL

Many projects have been performed by LynStaar at White Plains Hospital. The projects included design of the smoke detection system for the entire facility, including patient room detection, and design of the medical records area and miscellaneous other areas. LynStaar also performed the design for the installation of a high pressure steam boiler and air handler replacement as well as 5 backflow preventers.

NEW YORK PRESBYTERIAN

LynStaar performed modifications to existing fire alarm system at the White Plains, New York campus coordinating with facilities staff to minimize impact on building operations.

NEW YORK SPORTS AND SPINAL

LynStaar designed the HVAC, Plumbing, Sprinkler and Electrical systems for this 1000 square foot facility located in Scarsdale, New York.
